Senior credit risk manager responsible for risk strategy and performance for Tala’s Expansion Markets and partnership portfolios. Works with Product and Data Science to translate portfolio insights into decisioning and underwriting actions.

What you'll do

Own portfolio health monitoring and recommend strategy changes
Develop and execute credit strategies within Tala decisioning frameworks
Translate risk priorities into decisioning improvements with Product and Data Science
Lead underwriting strategy and risk management for partnership pilots and B2B2C portfolio
Provide concise portfolio updates to leadership, Finance, and Capital Markets

What they're looking for

6+ years in unsecured consumer lending with portfolio ownership
Experience developing approval, pricing, limits, and segmentation strategies
Comfort adapting underwriting to nonstandard data environments
Proficiency in SQL; Python preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, statistics, or related field
